Sealed qualifications will be received by the Police Chief of the City of Belton, 7001 E. 163rd Street, Belton, Missouri, 64012, until the above time, for an Engineering Consultant for Roof & HVAC Assessment for the Police Department. A late Qualification Packet is one received after 10:00 a.m., local time, at the time and place of the opening as stated. The decision as to the correct time for the openings shall be made by the Police Chief of the City of Belton and that decision shall be final. Qualifications received after the deadline date and time will be returned unopened. It shall be the responsibility of those submitting a qualification to assure themselves that their qualifications have been received by the City of Belton. Interviews will be set up within 2 weeks of the submittal date. Proposals submitted will be shortlisted to a minimum of two firms and a maximum of four firms. A review panel will then review the proposals and may make a selection based upon the submission of written materials. On-site presentations of the shortlisted will be requested.

Description of Work

• To provide the City with an Engineering Consultant for Roof & HVAC Assessment for the Police Department proposal for the City of Belton Police Department. The original Belton Police and Municipal Court Building located at 7001 East 163rd Street, Belton, Missouri 64012 was constructed in 1988. In 2008, the original building was expanded to its current footprint. The existing building has a history of experiencing water intrusion and interior damage prompting a need for expert evaluation.
