Waverly Road Pedestrian Trail - De Soto, KS

1. Sealed proposals will be received from Bidders by the City of De Soto, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, at De Soto City Hall, 32905 W. 84th Street, De Soto, Kansas, until the above time, for the construction of the City of De Soto’s Waverly Road Pedestrian Trail.

2. Proposals will be held in strict confidence and will not be opened or evaluated until the proposal deadline has passed. After the deadline has passed, the Owner will open and evaluate the proposals.

3. Bidders will be notified of the results within fourteen (14) days of the date set above for bids to be received. The Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder, but the City of De Soto reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids.

4. No pre-bid conference or formal bid opening conference will be held.

5. This project includes construction of a 10’ wide concrete trail (6” thick, fiber-reinforced) along the West side of Waverly Road, South of 95th Street and other associated work.
