The Town of Grantwood Village hereby gives notice that sealed bid proposals for the 2025 CONCRETE STREET IMPROVEMENTS will be received by Horner & Shifrin, Inc., 101 Laura K Drive, Suite 101, O’Fallon, Missouri, 63366, until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025. All bids must be delivered by courier or in person between the hours of 8am and 3pm Monday through Friday. All bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. Bids received after said time will be returned unopened.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be clearly marked, "2025 CONCRETE STREET IMPROVEMENTS".

The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding, to negotiate with any or all bidders or other for more favorable or additional terms or prices, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the Village.

Plans and specifications may be obtained from Drexel Technologies, 135A Weldon Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 / www.drexeltech.com / 314-872-0900. A non-refundablefee will be charged.

Instructions To Bidders

For 2025 CONCRETE STREET IMPROVEMENTS (the “Project”) in the Town of Grantwood Village, Missouri (the “Village”).

1. General

A. All work shall be constructed and completed in accordance with the specifications for the same, relating to the construction of such improvements.

B. The Bid Documents are on file at Drexel Technologies, 135A Weldon Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 / www.drexeltech.com / 314-872-0900.

C. Bid due date is Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. (prevailing local time). Bids received after the due date will not be considered. No exceptions.

2. Scope

Proposed construction for the Project will consist generally of: removal and replacement of approximately 2,320 square yards of concrete street replacement in the Village (the “Work”). After evaluating the bids received, the Village may choose to award a selection of alternates, an individual alternate, or no proposed alternate in keeping with the base bid.
