Sealed bids for St. Paul Road Bridge Replacement STBG-7302(710), will be received at: St. Paul City Hall, 2300 St. Paul Road, St. Paul, Missouri 63366 until the above time, and at that time will be publicly opened and read.
All bids shall be submitted in the form of Certified Mail or delivered in person to St. Paul City Hall. Bids submitted via Certified Mail must be delivered by the above time. Bids submitted in person may be delivered only during the following time periods:
January 13th, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
January 14th, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
January 15th, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
The proposed work includes the furnishing of materials, tools, equipment and labor in St. Charles County, Missouri. The construction shall include all work incidental to the furnishing of materials, tools, equipment and labor necessary to construct the box culvert, roadway, and drainage improvements and other appurtenances.
Plans and specifications, including the bid form, may be downloaded from Drexel Technologies www.drexeltech.com beginning Monday, December 22nd, 2025.
All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher.
The City of St. Paul, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.”
All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening.
Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project.
A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
The City of St. Paul, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
The DBE Goal for this letting is 0% of the total contract amount.
This project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
