Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of:
Star Bond North Interceptor Sewer Project – Gravity Sewer & Lift Station
to serve DERBY, SEDGWICK COUNTY, KANSAS will be received by the City of Derby, Kansas at City Hall, 611 Mulberry, Derby, Kansas 67037 until the above time and then at said office will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project is briefly described as follows:
The project includes a variety of civil infrastructure improvements including but not limited to the following: construction of a lift station, approximately 70 LF of 12-inch force main at the southeast corner of the development, approximately 6,260 LF of gravity sewer pipe to serve the property and properties on the west of N Amber Ridge Street and north of E. Patriot Avenue.

Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.

Responses to all questions will be made available to all plan holders of record via addenda issued no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 14th, 2025.
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any, and/or all bids, to waive technical defects in bids, and to select the bid deemed most advantageous to the OWNER.
Nondiscrimination in Employment
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond is acceptable to the OWNER in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. Checks are to be made payable to the OWNER and drawn on a solvent Kansas Bank or Trust Company. These checks or bonds are to be retained by the OWNER until the contract for the project shall have been awarded.
