A mandatory site visit will be conducted at the above time, at City Hall.

PURPOSE

The City of Gardner is seeking a licensed contractor to remove our existing diesel backup generator system and install a new Caterpillar C13 generator and ASCO C300 automatic transfer switch that the City will be purchasing from Foley Caterpillar.

GENERAL BACKGROUND

The City of Gardner relies on a diesel backup generator to provide emergency power to critical municipal facilities. The current system is outdated and due for replacement. This project will ensure reliable backup power through the installation of a new generator system, an automatic transfer switch, and supporting components. The City seeks a turnkey solution including removal, installation, testing, and staff training. Ensuring operational continuity during utility outages is a key objective of this replacement.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Respondents must submit four (4) printed copies and one (1) digital copy (USB flash drive) of the proposal no later than the above time. Any proposals received after 9:00 A.M. will be deemed ineligible. Please submit the proposal in a sealed envelope.
