CDBG Grant – Special Conditions and Requirements
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act, Segregated Facility, Section 109 of the 1984 Housing and Community Development Act and Executive Order 11246, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The City of Eureka, KS is inviting Bids for the Work involving the new construction of Memorial Hall Historic Window Restoration, KS as designated in the Bid Documents.
BG Consultants’ Project No. 25-1282
BG Consultants will receive bids on behalf of the City of Eureka, KS for a Contract for the Project. Qualified General Contractors may submit as the General Contractor for this Work.
Bids will be accepted by the following methods: 1) submitted in a sealed envelope delivered to Memorial Hall at 309 N. Oak Street, Eureka, KS 67045 by the above time. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by BG Consultants in Memorial Hall at 309 N Oak Street, Eureka, KS 67045 on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 7:00pm.
Bidding Documents may be examined and obtained online, on or after October 15, 2025, via the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom, http://projetbids.drexeltech.com/, Bidding Documents may also be examined upon request at BG Consultants, Inc., located at 4806 Vue du Lac Pl., Manhattan, KS 66503. Requests shall be made to Cameron Tross, Project Architect, (785) 480-6185.
All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the above time, located at Memorial Hall, 309 N. Oak Street, Eureka, KS 67045, immediately followed by a tour of the project scope areas.
Bidders are encouraged to visit the site upon request prior to the Bid opening to satisfy themselves with the existing conditions. Requests shall be made to Karen Simon, City Administrator, City of Eureka, KS, office@eurekaks.org, (620) 583-6140. No allowances shall be made to bidders for negligence for not visiting the site.
Bids shall not contain any recapitulation of the work to be done. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modification will be considered.
All bids shall be submitted sealed in envelopes and titled:
“BID PACKAGE – MEMORIAL HALL HISTORIC WINDOW RESTORATION”
