Pleasant Heights Sanitary Line Replacement - Independence, MO

The Independence Housing Authority (IHA) will receive proposals for the Pleasant Heights Sanitary Line Replacement project at the Independence Housing Authority Offices - located at 4215 S. Hocker Dr., Bldg. 5, Independence, MO 64055, until the above time. This is not a sealed Invitation to Bid, but rather a Request for Proposals. No public bid opening will be done. Any bids received after this time will not be accepted. All interested parties are invited to attend.

The work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Replace all cast iron waste piping from stacks and units up until it connects to the sewer.

• Replace all cast iron drains, angle shutoffs, supply lines, and toilet carriers in all units.

• Removal, remediation of wall cavities, and replacement of tile, gypsum, and other materials as required to replace the above items.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference at the above time, at the project site, 210 S Pleasant St, Independence, MO 64050. It is recommended that all interested parties attend this Pre-Bid Conference to view existing conditions. Any Contractor wishing a detailed visit to the work areas may do so on this date. Non-attendance on the part of a bidder shall not relieve the bidder of any responsibility for adherence to any of the provisions of this bid package or any addenda thereto.
