You are hereby invited to Bid on the Edwardsville - Fire Station Addition (the project). Bids for the project shall be fully executed and signed. The Bid Security, Contractor’s Qualifications Statement, E-Verify,and Affidavit forms shall accompany the bid in the envelope. The envelope shall be clearly marked, Bid for Edwardsville - Fire Station Addition. Bids shall be received prior to the time of [PUBLIC / PRIVATE] opening of Bids noted below.

.01 Time and Place of Bid Opening

The preferred method of submission is electronic submission. Mailed or hand-delivered bids will also be accepted. Bidders electing to mail in their Bids shall address Bids to the Construction Manager; Fogel-Anderson Construction Co., 1212 E 8th Street Kansas City, MO 64106. The envelope shall clearly indicate “BID – Edwardsville – Fire Station Addition.” Fogel-Anderson Construction Co. will not be responsible for Bids not clearly marked or received late.

.02 Pre-Bid Conference

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 698 4th St Edwardsville, KS 66111 on July 17th, at 2:00 p.m. All trade contractors are highly encouraged to attend.

The purpose of this Conference will be to review general project requirements and scheduling and answer Bidder's questions. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting IS NOT mandatory, however, all potential Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

Touring of the job site to determine the extent of existing conditions under which Work will be conducted will be critical to all Bidders. Attendance is strongly encouraged. Additional site visits shall be scheduled through the Construction Manager.

.03 Project Start

Commencement of the Work shall begin upon receipt of Notice to proceed, issued by Fogel-Anderson Construction Co.
