Sealed Bids for the construction of the KDOT Waterline Relocation Project (KDOT PN: 59-67 KA-6510-01) will be received, by Public Wholesale Water Supply District No. 5, Neosho County, KS at their city office 1798 Oregon Rd, Iola, KS 66749, until the above time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The KDOT Waterline Relocation Project for PWWSD No. 5 consists of the relocation of approximately 2,580 LF of 8” HDPE DR11 waterline. This includes but is not limited to: piping, tracer wire with test stations, valves, state/federal highway crossings (access approach), named tributary cased crossings, casing pipe, carrier pipe, connection to existing mains and all associated appurtenances.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
No pre-bid conference.
Questions on the Bid Documents from general contractors and sub-contractors will be answered by written addendum through the office of the Consulting Engineer. Questions from material suppliers or equipment suppliers will only be considered through general contractors and sub-contractors. Submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Jeff Zimmerman (Project Engineer) of Midwest Engineering Group, LLC in writing or email jzimmerman@midwest-engineers.com.
